Dear Filipina Girl,
Because you are from a third world country, you are hungry and you need to fill your stomach and support your family, everybody thinks of you as a bitch. Yes, you are a bitch and you have to live with it. You are easy and you are nothing. They consider you cheap! This is your reputation and in reality this is how you are regarded whether you are aware of it or not. People not coming from your country have generalized their impression and expect that while you are on the road of some place outside the Philippines, they may approach you maliciously because this is probably what they are thinking. They have associated your nationality to a prostitute.
Why have you come to this ending? Because at some point, they are right. A lot of girls before you have sold their bodies and have sold their souls and since they did, they have also sold your reputation. Sometimes you cannot blame them. Poverty is a very strong motivation. The people who have almost nothing will do anything to keep themselves on the surface of the planet – not under. They have dependents to sustain and are too poor to be educated that they live with whatever way they could under their own understanding, it is even a noble thing to do when there is no more choice. But there are monsters who sell them for their own greed and there are those who choose to do it because it is the easier system anyway. And you, suffering from the consequence of their actions and bad decisions, you also fall down on this trap and become in line with them, or you don’t?
I hope not!
I hope that in line with a generation of fading morality, there will still be some pride left to fight and be the Filipino girl that you are supposed to be.
That you are not the same from what the others have been!
That you deserve the respect that the other women of different nationalities are given, maybe much more than what they have!
That for what they think of you, you are more and you are better! You carry the culture of your ancestors that bears strength and dignity.
Do not permit others to think of you as nothing but a past time. Do not allow them to think of you as a bitch or a cheap commodity! Fight! You may not change this in your generation and the next generations to come but you will be able to make the difference only if you stand with conviction and live with the principle that you have integrity and you deserve respect!
Protect your character, live with honor and make them understand that you are a woman of great esteem and you must be regarded as somebody with sensibility and intellect. You must be valued for what you are - A woman of great consideration, with dignity, no less than anybody else – A FILIPINA!
