There is always something in this place that captures my thought,
something that gives my eyes the sparkle and makes my heart smile.
It could be the history, it could be the art, it could be just anything at all.
Or could it be the beautiful gondolas that sway with the dancing waters of the sea?
Or the palaces that adorn the floating paradise?
It draws me from the beauty of the sunrise and beyond the setting of the sun.
To the laughter of the tourists to the masked faces during carnival time.
Then it came to me, it’s just Venice! It’s Venice and the wonder it stirs in my head.
It’s my love and everything in this place that I am passionate about!
This beautiful old city and her splendor, it feeds my mind, it fills my soul,
It brings my heart to yonder back to it – always.
